She is married to Christopher Reese and together they have worked to make of 'Becoming Bilingual' a place where students can learn fluently a second language with passion. From 1999 to 2003 she worked at Peninsula Catholic High School in Newport News, VA as Spanish I, II, III and IV teacher where she developed the Spanish program and created a Spanish Club with various performances opened to the public. During 2002 and 2003, she achieved maximum lead while having students participating in the National Spanish Exams. Students earned 1st place in VA and 4th in the nation in 2002 and 1st in VA and 3rd in the nation in 2003 with 100% of the students passing it on their first attempt, making the Spanish language an important tool for the school. Mrs. Reese has also taken different seminars in Marketing and Management, Professionalism and Productivity as well as Basic Concepts of Continuing Development.
